Olivia has photographed world leaders, searched the Andaman Sea for people traffickers and hung off the side of buildings all in pursuit of a great photograph. She is driven to create beautiful images from personal stories.
She works globally for a range of editorial and commercial clients including Time magazine, the New York Times, Save The Children and the Guardian amongst others.
Olivia is always working on a personal project - most recently Days On Repeat, a dazzling, sun soaked look at how Londoner’s came to terms with the first (but not the last) lockdown. It is now a book and exhibition.
Her work has been widely awarded, published and exhibited. You’ll have seen her prize winning work in Creative Review, World Press Photo, Arts Council England, Foreign Press Award, Visa Pour L’Image, Open Walls Arles, DOCField Barcelona, International Photography Awards, Gallery of Photography Ireland, Photo Bogota, Guardian Photographer of the Year, Reuters Our World Now, Hoxton Mini Press, We Present and a global touring exhibition of pictures Resilience - stories of Women Inspiring Change.
She trained as a photojournalist for Reuters, covering Asia and running picture operations out of Kuala Lumpur before returning to the UK.
She lives in London.
